Preemal graduated from King's College London in 2012. He then completed a year working in London Hospitals as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Senior House Officer, before returning to General Practice in London and Bedford locations. In 2017 he and his brother, Akhil, opened Eyes & Smiles Dental Clinic together.

His main interests are in Minimally Invasive Dentistry including Bespoke white fillings, Prevention, Children's Dentistry, Gum Treatment and Implant Surgery. He frequently attends courses and congresses to keep up to date with the latest Evidence-Based Dentistry. He is a member of ITI (International Team for Implantology) and offers advice to peers. He is certified to carry out to place and restore Dental Implants since 2016.

He is also certified as an Invisalign Full Provider after having completed further courses, which means patients now have an alternative, discreet way of Teeth Straightening. Invisalign Full means he can offer the option of improving more than just the front few teeth with clear aligners.
He recently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics with Aspire Academy.

Outside of clinic he has been involved in National and International research presentations in Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery and Paediatric Dentistry.
Dentistry is a busy commitment but in his spare time, he enjoys travelling, music and video editing, keeping active and since February last year, settling into a newly married life! During lockdown he has also has found a new love for graphic designing.
